This program is for seniors who desire to pursue a teaching degree in college. Students will be placed in classrooms in the Sylvania Schools District four days per week for the entire year. This non-paid placement will change each quarter to allow students four opportuninties to work with various age levels and subjects. Possible senior placements include: Kindergarten, elementary (1-5), junior high (6-8; all subjects), high school (9-12; all subjects), gifted classes, and special education classes. The remaining days students will be in class at the high school learning about career opportunities in the education field.
